Dwell Church is a place where we believe that the most important
thing in life is a genuine relationship with God. Everything we do flows
from that foundation. We’re not focused on religion as a routine or a
checklist - we’re passionate about helping people truly know God, grow
in their faith, and experience His presence in a real and personal way.
Dwell Church is a place where you can come as you are, ask honest questions,
and take meaningful steps toward a deeper connection with God. Whether
you’re just beginning your faith journey or have been walking with God for
years, our heart is to create an environment where you can encounter
Him, be transformed, and find purpose.
We value community, authenticity, and spiritual growth. Together, we
seek to build lives centered on God’s love, truth, and grace - because
we believe that when we dwell in Him, EVERYTHING changes.
A Note From Our Pastors:
"Our Story - The vision for Dwell Church was already stirring in my heart even before we helped launch a sister church plant. Heidi and I were living in Newnan when the Lord prompted us to pick up our family and move to Dallas, Georgia. God supernaturally provided for us as we took those steps of faith.That season in Dallas became a proving ground for us. It built confidence in our hearts, teaching us that we can trust the Lord to build and plant as He leads. During those three years, the Lord continued shifting our family’s direction. Heidi and I felt Him clearly calling us to put down long-term roots somewhere - to raise our kids in a place where we could not only live out the gospel but also share it with people who may have never truly encountered Jesus.
That place became Rockmart, Georgia. The Lord highlighted this community to us so clearly. Several pastors in church planting networks confirmed what we were sensing: Rockmart is one of the most unreached areas in northwest Georgia. That reality broke our hearts and lit a fire in us at the same time. So in the summer of 2025, Dwell Church was born - not from a polished strategy, but from simple obedience to plant our family here and see what God would do. At the core of everything is this: we believe the most important thing any of us can do is choose the “one thing” that will never be taken away - intimate relationship with Jesus. Just like Mary sitting at His feet (Luke 10:42), we want to help people discover their true purpose by learning to abide in Him… to dwell with Him daily. That’s why we’re called Dwell.
Right now, we’re still in the early, beautiful, messy stage. We gather as a small house fellowship on Sunday mornings in our home - focused on real fellowship, honest discipleship, worship, and prayer. We’re not rushing. We’re intentionally building relationships with families in the Rockmart area, opening our lives, listening to their stories, and asking the Lord to knit our hearts together with others who love Jesus and want to see this community reached. We’re preparing our hearts and our little church family for the next step: a visible community launch. Our prayer is that God would expand what He’s started here so more people in Rockmart can encounter the transforming love of Jesus. This journey hasn’t been neat or predictable, but it’s been real. We’re convinced the best part of the story is still being written together.
